Maryland: Public Relations Manager

The Public Relations Manager is responsible for development, supervision and implementation of a year round PR plan to achieve Company and brand objectives.
Ingredients to be a Successful Public Relations Manager:
Manage outside agency, consultants, partners and in-house staff
Manage media relations efforts including determining media targets, developing and executing plans and pitches, and handling incoming media relations
Proven success in generating national media coverage for consumer products
Draft or oversee development of media materials in conjunction with agency and staff
Design, plan and oversee execution of media tours and events
Provide input on overall strategy and plans to Director of PR
Oversee tracking and evaluation of media coverage
Prepare coverage reports on a quarterly basis
Work cross-functionally when required to move pr campaigns and objectives forward
Manage budgets with a focus on cost savings
